I enjoy being in an industry that combines all the best elements of American small business: ingenuity, resourcefulness, creativity, law, sales, negotiation. Real estate requires entrepreneurial spirit, group cooperation and, simultaneously, one-on-one skill of the highest order.
The real estate agent is the equivelent of the V.P. of Marketing, Regional Manager for Sales, Legal Aide, MBA in Finance, and Project Manager all rolled in one. He/She has to have the public relations skills of a politician, and the patience of Job.
